iTunes is not cross platform if you use Linux and have a Nokia 63... I dunno... some other numbers that you inherited from someone else. Hmmph.

I like that you made an orderly queue of 1 though, and took photos and things. Stylish.

I'm not one to moan, but it annoys me how everyone talks about being tied into O2 or Mac stuff. If you get a Sony mobile, you'll be tied to using their crappy software, and you'll not be able to use this software on a mac. If you want the N95 8Gb you have to switch to Vodaphone - it's exclusive to them at the moment, you'll also be tied in for 12-18 months depending on tariff choice. Nokia has also just opened the Nokia Music Store, are you not going to buy a Nokia now because you'll be tied into this?

Contract phones have always been tied to networks for at least 12 months, more recently 18. Manufacturers have always bundled their own software with the device, often excluding mac users. I don't really see how you're anymore tied with an iphone, they give you the phone and the software to work with it - same as every other phone maker. The only difference is that in 18months, when your contract is up you MIGHT have to stay with O2, but by then you MIGHT want a newer phone anyway or they MIGHT be unlockable.

Awww crap, Qmonkey has sent me conclusive evidence that there's an 8Gb version of the N95, shoulda googled it a bit better! Seems like Voxo is taking a bit of a pointy though, or maybe it was just the beer talking. Did you have your mate stella round or was it just a bud?
